Keetah are a pop rock duo based in Bedfordshire
Popular Bedfordshire rock/pop duo Keetah - Kevin White and Paul Massey - are back on the live circuit promoting their upcoming single and album. Their live shows also feature unique cover versions from the seventies through to modern day. The band were very well received on their opening show of their return to the live circuit and received rave reviews from the organisers as well as the general public.
A great band for your wedding, party, club or pub
The duo have always enjoyed playing 'grass roots' venues so alongside their promotional tour they will also be looking to play more local venues and want to make themselves available for private functions, weddings, parties, clubs and pubs! Keetah have always been about 'keeping it real' and, unlike many bands on the live circuit, do not buy backing tracks - everything you hear is the guys own work - they are fed up with the karaoke style acts that are the bane of modern day music.
Having recenty secured a recording contract Keetah will be releasing their debut single in Spring 2013 'Facebook Status' which is about the rediculous amount of time that we all spend on social networks and the insecurities we have about what other people think of us. It's a very catchy song which will be available on iTunes and all other popular online music stores. The exact release date will be announced here soon.
The duo will also be releasing their debut album in summer 2013 and you will be able to preview some of the potential tracks at their live shows. They will be closely following the audiences reactions to each track which will strongly influence the decision to include them on the album.
Book a great live act for your wedding, party, club or pub
Along with their live promotional events for their upcoming single and album, Keetah are keen to play the local live circuit covering from Northampton through to North London. They are available for live perfomances at larger pubs, clubs and private functions.
We will be up-front about this from the start. Keetah are live performers who's main aim is to entertain, have fun and get the audience involved. If you are looking for background music then Keetah really are not appropriate for your venue. The duo also need space - they will not fit in to a fireplace of a small pub! They generally need an unobstructed area of around 10ft x 20ft.
Whilst the band do play a wide variety of music they are not a 'rock and roll hill billy' band and do not really cover songs from the fifies or sixties and most certainly do not play country and western! The guys are more focused towards pop and commercial rock music from the 80's onwards, and of course they will slip in a few of their own songs too. You can hear a selection of their music by heading over to the MUSIC section of this site. The popular duo like to make sure that they are right for your venue so please bear this in mind.
The basic format of their shows are 2 x 50min sets with a 30min break inbetween. They can perform longer sets dependent on the occasion and fee paid. They are also happy to provide background music when they are off-stage to help keep the mood going. They love playing encores at the discretion of the venue's management.
Keetah are not an expensive act just because they have a recording deal, they are down to earth guys who love nothing more than performing to a willing crowd.
The easiest way of booking the band is to simply contact them directly via email in the first instance by clicking here. They will then call you personally if required to sort out the finer details and discuss any requirements you may have. They do not publish their private telephone numbers on this website for obvious reasons!
When booking Keetah they will be happy to email you over poster artwork that you can print out for your venue or supply hard copies at cost.
